카이로 2023년 10월 27일 /PRNewswire=연합뉴스/ -- 이집트 교육부가 25일 열린 '교사를 위한 디지털 플랫폼 및 역량에 관한 UNESCO-Huawei 국제 포럼(UNESCO-Huawei International Forum on Digital Platforms and Competencies for Teachers)'에서 교육자의 지속적인 전문성 개발을 목표로 세운 국립원격교육센터(National Center for Distance Education)를 공식 출범했다.

이 학습 센터는 2020년부터 2023년까지 이집트, 가나, 에티오피아에서 진행되는 'UNESCO-Huawei의 모두를 위한 기술 기반 열린 학교(Technology-enabled Open Schools for ALL, 이하 TeOSS)[ https://www.unesco.org/en/digital-education/teoss ]' 프로젝트의 일환으로 기획됐다.
